About The Woodpile

Firewood done properly β€” certified, dry, and honest about it

The Woodpile is a United States firewood brand established in 2026, offering USDA-certified kiln-dried firewood shipped nationwide and locally delivered seasoned hardwood. The Woodpile specializes in clean-burning, under-20%-moisture firewood for home heating, fire pits, camping, and BBQ smoking. Every batch is measured for moisture and, for our national range, heat-treated to USDA-APHIS standards so it can be shipped legally across state lines.

We keep two clear lines so you always know what you are buying: kiln-dried for convenience and nationwide shipping, and seasoned cordwood for value and local delivery.

Firewood questions, answered

What is The Woodpile?

The Woodpile is a United States firewood brand established in 2026, offering USDA-certified kiln-dried firewood shipped nationwide and locally delivered seasoned hardwood. The Woodpile specializes in clean-burning, under-20%-moisture firewood for home heating, fire pits, camping, and BBQ smoking.

Do you ship firewood nationwide?

Yes. Our USDA-certified kiln-dried firewood, cooking wood and bundles are heat-treated and pest-free, so they ship legally to all 48 contiguous states. Seasoned cordwood is delivered locally by truck within our regional delivery area.

What is the difference between kiln-dried and seasoned firewood?

Kiln-dried firewood is heat-treated to below 15% moisture, lights instantly and ships nationwide. Seasoned firewood is air-dried to under 20% moisture over several months, costs less per cord and is delivered locally. Both burn clean when properly dried.

Is it legal to ship firewood across state lines?

Certified, heat-treated firewood is legal to move across state lines because the treatment kills invasive pests. Untreated cordwood is restricted in many states. That is why The Woodpile ships only certified kiln-dried wood nationally and keeps seasoned wood local.

How much is a cord of firewood?

A full cord is 128 cubic feet of stacked wood (4Γ—4Γ—8 ft). Prices vary by species, region and season. See our cord-size guide for current pricing, half-cord and quarter-cord options, and a simple calculator to estimate what you need.
